Like so many families with active boys, some of our best memories were made outdoors – on the field, playgrounds, or creative backyard adventures. The only problem? Those adventures always seemed to leave their mark on our kippahs. We would come home with kippahs covered in sweat, dirt, grass stains, and whatever else the day had thrown our way.

That usually meant Mom would be standing at the sink, armed with a sponge and plenty of patience, wondering how on earth they got so dirty. As we watched her scrub kippah after kippah, we started asking ourselves a simple question: Why wasn’t there an easier way? 

That everyday frustration sparked an idea that would eventually become the Kippah Klean™. We set out to create a simple and practical solution that would make life easier and save busy families valuable time and effort.
